There were some rumors floating around earlier in the week that Bradley Cooper had been offered the part of Rocket Raccoon in Marvel’s upcoming Marvel film, Guardians Of The Galaxy. We can now confirm that these rumors are now facts, as Marvel has confirmed that Bradley Cooper is indeed going to voice Rocket Raccoon.
Rocket Raccoon is the final piece missing in the Guardians puzzle. He will join Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Drax (Dave Bautista) on their epic quest when Guardians Of The Galaxy comes out August 1st, 2014.
For those of you unfamiliar with the character, Rocket Raccoon is is character that experimented on and implanted with cybernetics, making him half machine and half racoon. Understandably he is a bit of an angry creature. Cooper has the ability to add plenty snark, and he can be a smart-ass when he needs to be.
I think he will fit in just fine, I’m happy with this casting news. What do you guys think of this?
