AHJ

Earlier in the summer we reported that Albert Hammond Jr. has a new EP in the works. Now we have the official details.

The EP is simply titled AHJ and will be released on October 8 via Cult Records, the record label of his Strokes bandmate, Julian Casablancas.

It’s a 5-song EP which Hammond played all the instruments on, except the drums. Gus Oberg produced it, and it will come out on limited 10″ vinyl only in certain record stores. It’s Hammond’s first solo work since his 2008 LP, ¿Cómo te Llama?.
