Today Trent Reznor released a new Nine Inch Nails song called “Everything” on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show. He’s already shared two songs from upcoming album, Hesitation Marks, “Copy Of A” and “Come Back Haunted”
“Everything” is a lot different than what we’ve heard from Hesitation Marks so far; straightforward and chugging along on a rather pop groove that also hits on some elements of shoe-gaze. This isn’t what I expected, but I’m enjoying it. I think a lot of NIN die-hards are going to be caught in their tracks with this one. It’s probably going to be a love it or hate it sort of track.
