Basement Jaxx have been busy of late, releasing two new singles: “Back 2 The Wild” and “What A Difference Your Love Makes.” Today, they let loose of the latter single’s b-side, the varied “Mermaid Of Salinas.”
Along with Basement Jaxx’s 90s house sound, they mix in latin and African influences to produce quite a varied dance track. It’s production is top tier, letting all of the song’s influences shine brightly.
