After leaving Hot Chip’s killer set I caught the tail end of Nine Inch Nails performance. I got to hear “The Way Out Is Through”, “Wish”, “Only”, “The Hand That Feeds”, “Head Like A Hole”, and “Hurt.” Considering I got there at the end of the set, I got pretty lucky.
Visually the show was stunning, with moving set pieces rotating around over some very cool lightening. Although I only caught a portion of the set, the show was as mesmerizing as I expected a NIN show to be, and I may have to try and get over to Brooklyn when they come to Barclays in October.
