One of the bright spots in the emerging music landscape, Washington, D.C.’s GEMS continue to leave me breathless and impressed with their music.
Their latest gem is “Sinking Stone” a lovely chamber pop song that creates this hazy fog atmosphere that feels out of this world. It isn’t a very summer like song, but this wouldn’t be miscast while hanging back with a few beers near a lake on a cool summer night. Lindsay Pitts once again impresses with those vocals of hers.
