Kings Of Leon premiered “Supersoaker” at Governors Ball this year, and it’s the official first single from their new album Mechanical Bull, which comes out September 24 via RCA Records.
The Followill boys return to their harder hitting rock sound on “Supersoaker” while also keeping that dramatic ambition that they’ve discovered in their later years. This sounds like the most natural thing that they’ve released in a long time, and it’s a song that I think many of the people who have fallen off the band recently will enjoy. It sounded all kinds of epic live, and they captured that same feeling in the recording.
