I’ve said it a few times on this space, but it’s been amazing to see how big Alt-J have become in a year. They had one of the most packed crowds during the entire festival, so much so that it took me nearly 15 minutes just to leave the photo pit because it was impossible to move through the packed crowd.
The band have taken it all in stride, both enthusiastically and humbling finding a balance that is great to see. Their live set may not have changed since my first encounter with them, but they have become a tighter and better band with every performance. It’s only the start, this band is going to move on to even bigger things in the future. It’s only a matter of time.
