Honeydrum are a New Brunswick, New Jersey band that tap into a lo-fi aesthetic that may call to mind Ariel Pink. He just released two new songs, “Hot Star” & “A Year Of My Love” and I’m loving what I’m hearing.
“Hot Star” a washed out track that feels as if it was forever trapped in an 80s cassette tape. “A Year Of My Love” is a lush track that sounds like a lost dream fading even further to the darkness. Both tracks will appear on a Gnar Tapes/Burger Records tape that will be released this summer. Stream both below.
