Surfer Blood’s new album Pythons is on it’s way soon, set for a June 11 release on Warner Bros. The first song they released from the album was “Weird Shapes”, which has grown to be one of my most played songs of 2013 so far. Today they released the follow-up to that, new single “Demon Dance.”
The band seem to have grown quite a bit since their debut, crafting a more solid rock sound that seems more toiled and put together. They seem to have found a new groove in their sound with quite a hop to their step. They even get some screams in there. I’m liking this one a lot.
