Dead Leaf Echo – Memorytraces

Dead Leaf Echo are a NYC art collective that recently finished their debut album, Thought & Language. They released “Memorytraces”, a song from the album, as a free download on their website.

There’s a dreamy shoegaze effect to it that definitely calls to mind legendary acts like MBV and Coctau Twins. Lovely stuff.

They will be making an appearance at Mercury Lounge this Wednesday, and will be at SXSW next month. Find the full set of dates at their site.
