Portland Oregon’s Wampire deliver something different with “The Hearse”. It starts off with a light hum from an organ, and then dives into a full on 80s riffage with a funky bassline and the organ following its trail. There’s a lot going on, but it all comes together to form an oddly catchy piece.
It’s from Curiosity, their debut album which comes out May via Polyvinyl.
Wampire will join Foxygen & Unknown Mortal Orchestra on tour.
