“Bop Bop” is an exquisite number from Mean Lady, a duo from Delaware to keep an eye on.
It starts with a soft, comforting folky intro with impressive vocals and Beach House-like guitars. Soon a minor electronic beat kicks in and the heart of the song kicks in. Minor effects sprinkle around creating a highly enjoyable tune that tackles many genres successfully.
Fat Possum is releasing the 7″ version of the song on November 6. I’d certainly call these guys a band to watch.
