The War On Drugs kicked off my Lollapalooza weekend. I saw the first part of their set and enjoyed it quite a bit. Their sound live came off as a reverb-heavy Dylan, with a cross to modern indie rock and elements of folk-rock. Elements of Adam Granduciel’s days with Kurt Vile definitely still float around.
