Benjamin Gibbard is finally releasing a solo record. The Death Cab for Cutie/Postal Service frontman has announced that the album is titled Former Lives, and will come out October 16 via Death Cab’s old label, Barsuk.
We all knew it was only a matter of time until Ben finally released something solo. It features 12 songs, that were written in a span of the last eight years. If I had to guess, we’re going to hear at least something about his breakup with Zooey. Just saying..
The album released will go along with some limited tour dates.
