A lot has been said about Iceage, a group of young men from Copenhagen, Denmark. Most of the talk is about their mosh-heavy chaotic live shows that apparently leave many (willingly) bloodied up. I didn’t witness any bloodshed from where I was on Sunday, but someone told me that a few people got roughed up.
So they lived up to their reputation both physically and musically. Their loud buzzing set seemed to end just as it got started. Even with sound problems after the first two songs the band kicked things back into gear, and didn’t look back after. I would definitely check these guys out again, only this time to take a journey into the eye of the storm.
