Alt from Digits pointed me towards Farragoes, telling me that they’re “the best new band in Canada this year as far as I’m concerned.” They’re actually a synth-pop group based in Toronto and Washington D.C. Either way, I’m glad Alt made the recommendation, because they’re quite a talented group.
One listen of the sublime “End Of The Affair” has got me believing in his heavy praise. It’s a delightful little electro-pop song with vocals that are hard to disagree with.
“End Of The Affair” is taken from their farragoes EP which was released on April 7. It’s available to stream at bandcamp.
