On December 1 English rock outfit Spector made their way to Brooklyn venue Saint Vitus. Although they recently released their second album Moth Boys, his was actually the the groups first proper NYC performance, as their 2012 show at Mercury Lounge ended up being cancelled.
I have been following the group since they released their debut Enjoy It While It Lasts in 2012, so getting to see them play at Saint Vitus at this point in this career wasn’t something I was complaining about. Although they were basically starting from scratch with U.S. audiences, it didn’t take long for them to win the crowd over with their confident performance of hard to contain rock and roll. They owned the stage, and left everyone in the audience with nothing but smiles.
