Death Cab For Cutie have announced a short date of tour dates to support their new album, Codes and Keys. Starting in May the band will hit up North America, playing small intimate shows. They will be playing NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on June 1st, which just happens to be my favorite venue. It’s going to be tough to get tickets to that show, but it will totally be worth it to see them there. The prospect of seeing a band like Death Cab at an intimate venue like Bowery excites the hell out of me.

The band also announced that they’re releasing a live dvd called Live at the Mt. Baker Theatre, featuring live performances that the band played it Bellingham, Washington. It comes out the same day as the album (May 31st via Atlantic Records).
