Ah yes, more good news just keeps rolling in. 2011 is truly shaping up to me an extraordinary year for music. You can now add The Dodos to that ever growing list of albums to look forward to.
Their new album with be called No Color, and it’s due out in stores on March 15th via Frenchkiss Records. The band is bringing back some of their older albums charm. They’ve brought back John Askew, producer of their first two albums, who was missing from their last album, Time To Die.
The band approached No Color with the goal of “bottling the frenzied folk approach of their older days”. Meric Long even experiments with electric guitar, something that I’m really excited to hear.
