Are you in the mood for some vintage sounding love pop? Maybe a nostalgic 60s surf/girl group hybrid that your parents probably may have dug the hell out of? Maybe this sounds tasty, but you want it in modern form? Well, Seapony have got you covered.
Seapony are a three piece from Seattle who are ready to capture your heart and hold on ever so tight. They write lovely pop songs that wouldn’t have gotten lost in the 50’s/60’s. They speak of lost love, and heartbreak. The songs aren’t sad though. They embrace the sadness, delivering tightly packed poppers that are going to leave you feeling euphoric to the bone.
They put up their debut EP on bandcamp, and are releasing a 7″ for single “”Dreaming” with two new songs. The 7″ is coming out on November 15th via Double Denim Records. It’s limited to 300 copies, and the first 150 will be on colour vinyl. Pre-Order it here.
Download the addictive guitar based jam “Dreaming” below. You will have in on repeat for a while. It’s a glorious thing.
