Sports “To Catch A Thief” is quickly rising as one of my favorite songs of 2010. Find out why. The Seattle band has continued to impress me with equally impressive demos that are making a case for them as a band to watch in 2011.
“Heatwave” is a mind bending song that hit you with throbbing bass and effects that are too good for this world. Throw in the haunted vocals, and you got a new friend for this Halloween. “Every World Is A World Of Your Own” hits hard with layers of colorful synths and 80s new wave vocals. It’s a delicious song that is something to get excited about. Throw in “Prizefighter” and you got a song that sounds like a journey through layers of a cool dark night.
These guys have me hooked, and these are just their demos. They have a fresh and original sound that sounds like 80’s new wave, but very modern at the same. It’s incredible just how perfectly the bands singer matches their sound.
I have no problem calling them a band to watch in 2011.
