The XX took home The Mercury Prize last night, and boy do they ever deserve it. It’s been quite a ride to watch them grow into the band they are today. Not only do they get the wonderful title of making the best album of the year, but they also win £20,000 which the band said will go towards the making of their very own studio.
I just wanted to take some time and congratulate the xx, who I have backed for about a year now.
