It’s 3 AM, and I can’t sleep. I headed over to the Arcade Fire’s official site and was rewarded with an early view at a new post. The headline of the post was: “Arcade Fire Presents: The Suburbs”. Then the band (who hilariously signed the letter as Arkady Fireovitch) posted the message in the form of a handwritten note than they scanned. It announces that their new album is indeed titled The Suburbs, and it will come out on August 3rd. The album art is posted below:
Both of the songs that leaked online last night (“The Suburbs” & “Month Of May”) will be included on the album. If you pre-order the album, you will receive free downloads of both the songs. This is all cool news. This summer is going to be pretty incredible. Check out the note in full below:
