Beck has always been a hardworking fella who constantly puts out quality. He just has the goods. You can always rely on Beck to put out something you can enjoy.
Beck is at it again with his creativity this time with a brand new project. It is called his Record Club project. Beck and some of his “celebrity” friends will pick a classic album, spend one day recording a cover of the entire thing, and then post it on the internet, one song at a time. The coolest part is that nothing is rehearsed ahead of time, what you see is them going out there and performing it true to heart!
Their first album is The Velvet Underground classic The Velvet Underground & Nico. They start with the unforgettable timeless opener “Sunday Morning”.
I loved it.
Beck said:
Participants included this time around are Nigel Godrich, Joey Waronker, Brian Lebarton, Bram Inscore, Yo, Giovanni Ribisi, Chris Holmes, and from Iceland, special guest Thorunn Magnusdottir, and myself.”
