Sasha Assad is an half-Egyptian, half Nottinghamshire indie artist who is preparing for the release of her new EP, Casablanker, on August 16th via Fierce Panda Records.
Ahead of its release comes “Imagine Mary,” a powerhouse anthemic blend of folk and garage rock and pop. The authentic vocals are a given a perfect backdrop of anthemic 90s esque punchiness and tight guitar riffs that soar alongside Assad’s delivery – very Courtney Barnett at times.
