Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Gregory Ackerman returned with new EP, Brand New Life, last month via Polymoon.

It features tracks like the vintage “When It’s Through”, a track that that is described as one that “embodies life’s journey, echoing his personal growth and experiences.”

It has a distinctive 70s esque storytelling and production style, while also harnessing the energy of contemporaries such as Mac DeMarco, Sam Evian, and Devendra Banhart. There’s a simple but effective charm to his songwriting that comes off as genuine and sincere.
