Collapsing Scenery, the Los Angeles-based duo of Don De Vore (Ink & Dagger, Lilys, The Icarus Line, Amazing Baby) and Reggie Debris released their debut album Collapsing Scenery on June 28th via Metropolitan Indian.

The band will celebrate it’s release here in New York City on Friday with a free performance at Tompkins Square Park that takes place at 3 pm and is all ages. The show is open to donations, all of which will benefit Avenues for Justice – Andrew Glover Youth Program in order to help increase neighborhood awareness, build community and foster involvement in the rapidly changing neighborhood of the Lower East Side.

You can get a sense of the artful and experimental nature of the band via the music video for album offering “St Seraphim Redux,” which was directed by Fiona Godivier. Find the video for the track below and be sure to swing by the Park if you’re in the neighborhood.
