You may remember Monica Martin as the lead singer of indie-folk act Phox who is currently on hiatus.
Martin has since embarked on a solo career of her own, signing to Republic Records who released her lovely debut single “Cruel” which is both an expansion of the sound she was making alongside Phox but also a different direction of her own.
She’s since released a stunning live performance of the track that puts her powerhouse vocals on full display, where they belong.
