It has been a long time coming but we can finally expect a new Friendly Fires album in 2019, their first since 2011’s Pala. They’ve already given us a taste of the new album with their comeback single “Love Like Waves,” and they’ve since returned with the album’s second single, “Heaven Let Me In.”

The track wastes no time establishing its vibrant dance energy that has a bit of a retro disco groove underneath the surface. It won’t come as a total surprise that they co-produced the track with Disclosure, writing the whole thing during one late night session at famed duo’s north London studio.

It will be good to finally have a new Friendly Fires album on our hands and hopefully with some live shows stateside to boot. For now, enjoy “Heaven Let Me In,” which is streaming below.
