BOYO is the project of 22-year-old multi-instrumentalist Rob Tilden, a psych-pop project born out of Bobby T. and the Slackers, a cult-beloved garage-band that Tilden started at age 16.
But ever since 2016 he’s been releasing music as BOYO and after a year of touring, went into isolation and out came his debut album Dance Alone, which is soon to be released via Danger Collective Records. Today we share the smooth single “Hit Or Miss,” which sounds like a sexy psych-influence hybrid of say, Tame Impala, Mac DeMarco and Toro y Moi.
