Aleksander Kostopoulos is known as one of northern Norway’s most active musicians. He’s primarily known for drumming with artists such as Mari Boine, Adjagas, Moddi, Marthe Valle, Isak and the rock duo Pil & Bue. He recently released his first solo album with Faleo and today we share the album’s self-titled track.
It’s a haunting an effective atmospheric effort that has all the makings of a potential great cinematic score offering, making me wonder if Kostopoulos has a budding future in making film scores that maybe he hasn’t even considered yet. If not, he really should.
