Neil Young returned to The Capitol Theatre on September 26 and 27 for a pair of intimate shows along with his current backing band Promise of the Real – led by Lukas Nelson. We were in attendance for the show on the 27 which just like the night before, was an evening with Neil Young, meaning that there was no opening act, just an intimate evening with the great Neil Young.

The night was a heavy mix of classics from Young’s historic catalog, and featured a fair share of material that they didn’t play the night before such as “Powderfinger” and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s “Ohio.” It was a treat to see Young and his band playing in a historic room like Capitol Theatre, a place way smaller than the places Young is obviously capable of selling out.

Find a few photos from their performance posted below, along with the setlist.
