The Burney Sisters is the duo comprised of siblings Emma and Olivia Burney. Thing is, they’re only at the young ages of 10 and 13 respectively but are making smart, well-rounded folk rock that is well beyond their years.
They will release their sophomore EP Where We Stand on September 28 via Gaslight Records and have recently shared its lead single “Ocean Eyes.” These girls have a natural songwriting talent that they already have down to an incredibly honed-in level that is truly a breath of fresh air these days and bodes well for their future. But their present is looking mighty fine too based on “Ocean Eyes,” which you can find streaming below.
