“Black Brown Gold” is an excellent track from his sophomore album Departures, which was released on August 30. The song shows off Alam’s dynamic range for some pretty stunning vocal territories and sonic exploration that fits in areas of psych rock, world music, and some dreamy indie rock sounds. There’s a lot to digest here but this is definitely not a song to miss out on.
