Bay Area folk musician Eric Anders latest album is passionate and politically charged if you couldn’t tell by the title of his new album, Eleven Nine, named after the day that our 45th President was elected. The album combines elements of folk rock along with classic and prof rock to give it a razor-sharp edge.
Leading off the album is the poignant ballad “This Fire Has Burned Too Long,” a political ballad that hammers in elements of Americana to talk about a topic that is essentially the most folk rock form you could ask for: a protest song. It’s a lovely take from Anders, who leaves it all on the table and delivers in a touching manner that has you with him all the way.
You can hear the track below and find the rest of the album availabel to stream and buy over at his bandcamp page.
