On October 1 Thundercat concluded his two-night run at Brooklyn Steel with a tight performance that came in support of his new album Drunk, which was released via Brainfeeder earlier this year.
This was my first time seeing him perform since his performance last year at Governors Ball – my first proper headlining show of his. He delivered smooth performances of his songs that all blended the genres of r&b, jazz and rock so effortlessly.
