Portland-based indie rock group Small Leaks Sink Ships make art-rock with a passion and emotion that is immediate. The group aren’t new to the scene, they’re been putting in their work since the release of their debut album in 2007.
They caught my attention with “Dancing Devil” a track that is equally off-kilter but oddly catchy. It’s complex yet also accessible, a fine line that is much easier said than done, but Small Leaks Sinks Ships get the job done.
