Cameron Williamson was born in Hong Kong and grew up on the island of Kaua’i in Hawaii. The tropical landscapes of his surrounds gave him the fuel he needed to feed his artistic mind, as well as the works of acts such as Radiohead, Flying Lotus, and Pink Floyd.
All of this came together to form his IDM (intelligent dance music) project zenxienz, a project that works off the templates of jazz, hip-hop, psychedelia and electronic music. He’s since returned with a brand new album titled Mind Sigh that takes all of the elements and combines them into one striking whole that creates something of a controlled chaos of different sounds that really is it’s own thing.
