On August 16 the influential PJ Harvey finished off her 2-night run at Terminal 5 with a sold out performance at the venue. The stops were in support of her latest album, The Hope Six Demolition Project, which was released this spring via Vagrant Records.
This was an evening with just Harvey, a strong-willed and powerfully enchanting 19-song set that spanned the entirety of her storied career. It was my first time seeing her live, and it somehow exceeded even my unfairly high expectations, and sounded great even at the sometimes hit-or-miss Terminal 5.
