Parquet Courts at Market Hotel (August 13, 2016)

On the unbelievably hot day that was August 13, Brooklyn’s Parquet Courts sold out Market Hotel, another local stop in support of this year’s terrific Human Performance (released via Rough Trade Records).

This was a slightly more intimate performance than when I saw them earlier this year at Webster Hall, and it resulted in a much more compact performance from the group, who always offer a different setlist and feel no matter how many times you see them (and my count keeps growing).
