On October 7, Los Angeles folk-trio The Furious Seasons released their 5th album, Look West. The trio went all acoustic for this album, with the album concept born out of months of 3-piece shows played in Southern California, including shows in support of John Hiatt, David Lindley and A.J. Croce.
Take for example lead single “Longshot,” a beautiful little number sung by the bands David Steinhart that hits on alt-country and americana, providing a bit of personal insight that just shines through on the song, played by lead guitarist Paul Nelson. It’s a song full of heart that digs deep into your soul instantly.
