As if a week of CMJ wasn’t enough, I finished off a long week of music with a Sunday night performance from both Man Man and Prince Rama at Brooklyn Bowl.
It was a welcome return to New York for Man Man, especially considering they’re last release was 2013’s On Oni Pond. It was surprisingly my first time seeing them perform, even though I caught Honus Honus with his side-project Mister Heavenly. They had fun with their set, delivering all the goods at a frantic and high-level that left me smiling throughout.
Prince Rama opened up the show, sharing some new songs from their soon to be released new album Xtreme Now, coming on March 4 via Carpark Records.
