Blunda is the solo project of multi-intrumentalist Andy Blunda. Before embarking on his own solo work, Blunda worked with bands such as Paloalto and Fastball. He’s about to release his new EP Messages, 5 songs of electronic synth-pop.
“If You Want Me” hits you with a cold breeze of swirling chilly synths and a very European beat. Think CHVRCHES vs. The Knife (Silent Shout era). Blunda’s warm vocals come in and connect all the dots during the climax of the song resulting in a bit of wondrous chorus that takes the whole thing home.
