Hey guys, sorry that I have been totally m.i.a. these last 4 days. I moved into my house here at school, yet the internet isn’t there yet. Guy was supposed to come install it on Saturday, but it got pushed back to today. Guess what, he never came today either. Gotta love this place. I finally got out of class and am sitting in the library. I am so behind on so much stuff. Including the new Kanye jam that he dropped as a part of his absolutely insane G.O.O.D. Friday campaign. ‘Ye stayed true to his promise of sharing a new song every Friday until Christmas.
He dropped a new song called “Monster” that will be on his newly announced collaborative EP Watch the Throne which see’s him teaming up with Jay-Z. Holy shit is right. “Monster” is a 6 minute epic featuring Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Bon Iver, and Nicki Minaj. This song lives up to it’s “epic” title. All of the rappers are competing for the best verse, and the winner has to be Nicki Minaj. She is new to my ears. I’ve seen her name around, but I’ve never listened to her until now. But god damn, she absolutely rips this song apart with some fierce raps. I’m impressed. No, Bon Iver doesn’t rap, but as expected, he drops some beautiful vocals.

Kanye West shared this via his blog, and announced the 5 song Watch The Throne EP on his twitter. This is one of the many songs that Bon Iver dropped vocals on for Kanye’s new songs, hopefully we will get more soon.
