Unfortunately not everything I post is going to be good news. Sometimes shit happens. Much earlier today, longstanding Britpop band Supergrass broke up after making 6 albums over the course of 17 years together. T
he worst part is, I was just starting to get into Supergrass over the last few months. Go figure.
The band made the following statement as to why they broke up:
“Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years. We still love each other but, cliché notwithstanding, musical differences have led to us moving on and of course we all wish each other well in the future.”
The band will play 4 farewell shows. The dates are posted below. You gotta bet people are going to be paying a fortune for these ones:
