Vampire Weekend debuted at the #1 billboard spot on albums sold in the US last week! That’s right, indie rockers took the #1 spot!
It is amazing to see how far the boys have come in such a short time! I remember discovering the band and telling all my friends they were the next big thing. I truly believed that there was something special about them, and it turns out I was right!
They have worked really hard, and have come together really nicely! I am glad to see that other people are appreciating them too! It’s pretty rare to see an indie take the top of the billboard charts, so this is a pretty big deal!
