Tiny Tiny is the project of Somerset, Kentucky-based musician Boone Williams and “a cast of friends, family, and weirdos.” In March he released his EP, Ultra.
One of the highlights of the EP is “Ultra City”, a bit of a retro rock and pop track with some infectious vocals and classic sounds guitar work. It has traces of 60s pop and rock with a natural groovy nature that just hits all the right notes and makes the past shine bright in a way of its own.
Speaking on the track, Williams adds:
We wrote and recorded this song during a big snow storm. It’s about when you know that you and the person you’re with have it better than anyone else, and how it can be fun to at least entertain the idea of rubbing everyone’s nose in it.
