Dango Duyns is an Amsterdam based composer and singer-songwriter who this weekend released his debut album, True Blue Vision, via Excelsior Recordings.
Album opener “Constant Mirrors” sets the tone with a vivid lush sense of dreamy indie rock with a sense of wonder and melancholia that pierces through to the heart that blends elements of DIIV with Beach House into something utterly effective.
Another highlight is “A Universe” a smooth track of early 2000s esque indie rock with a very The Strokes / Julian Casablancas feel that just radiates cool and takes us back to a much simpler time in our lives.
