Khruangbin at Forest Hills Stadium [photos+review]

Khruangbin returned with their fourth album A La Sala earlier this year via Dead Oceans, which has brought them on tour playing their biggest shows to date. This included two nights at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens with openers Men I Trust.

There was a noticeable buzz throughout the Stadium before the show, with well dressed fans running freely throughout the area eager to spend the beautiful night taking in some chill sounds.

They kicked off with all of the new album in order as their first set, before rounding things out with all of their other fan favorites that floated through Forest Hills and transported the packed audience into a sonic heaven of sorts.

The encore featured Men I Trust’s Emma joining them for a performance of “Dearest Alfred”, with the “María también” and “People Everywhere (Still Alive)” sending everyone home in utter delight.
